Release Support

Plan Your Release with Tig Lieschke

As recording time comes to a close, we often see artists reaching a point where the music is strong, but the next steps feel unclear or overwhelming.

For artists seeking support to navigate the processes, decisions and priorities that come next, we work with Tig at Otidesk to help you move forward with confidence.

Plan Your Release is a 1:1 session designed to demystify the release process and help you understand what’s involved in getting your music out into the world. With your vision in mind, Tig supports you to turn your goals and resources into an achievable plan.

Tig draws on her unique background in corporate and community project delivery, and her own experience as a recording artist and performer, to break down the release process from an artist’s perspective.

What this support looks like

Each session is lightly tailored to your vision and career stage, but generally focuses on:

  • An overview of common release pathways and distribution options

  • Key steps, deadlines, and decisions involved in releasing music

  • Thinking realistically about timelines, budgets, and capacity

  • Identifying immediate next steps once recording is complete

  • Clarifying priorities so the release doesn’t stall or become overwhelming

There is no ‘right’ way to release music, but this session is designed to give you the tools and clarity to plan a release that feels right for you.

How support works

Plan Your Release includes:

  • A 60-minute one-on-one consultation with Tig

  • A short written action plan, outlining key considerations and next steps discussed in your session

These consults are designed to discuss your release goals and questions, and to help you walk away with next steps you can progress. Once your release plan is underway, you can book a check in with Tig at any point to clarify priorities and keep your release moving forward.

Why we offer this option

Recording is just one part of a much larger process, which we know can feel overwhelming once you’ve left the studio. This session exists to support artists in the transition between finishing a record and releasing it, to make sure your music gets heard in the places you want it to be.
